ATS Integrations
Connect your existing Applicant Tracking System so jobs, candidates, and stage changes sync automatically with Elly.
Supported ATS systems#
Elly integrates with the major ATS platforms — including Greenhouse and Lever — via a unified integration broker. The exact list expands over time; check the Integrations page for what's currently available.
Connecting an ATS#
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- Find your ATS in the list and click Connect.
- Sign in to the ATS and approve the permissions Elly requests.
- Back in Elly, wait for the initial sync to complete — typically a few minutes depending on how many open jobs and candidates you have.
There's a 1-credit setup cost per connection. See Billing and Plans.
What syncs#
Once connected, Elly keeps the following in sync with your ATS:
- Jobs — Title, description, status. Imported jobs appear alongside jobs you create manually.
- Candidates — Name, email, resume, and any custom fields supported by the integration.
- Applications — Candidates who apply through your ATS show up in the Elly pipeline at an appropriate stage.
- Stage changes — Moving a candidate in Elly's pipeline can update their stage in the ATS, and vice versa, depending on the integration's capabilities.
Direction of sync is per-field — some fields are read-only in Elly, some are bidirectional. The integration details page calls out the specifics for each ATS.

If you need to connect multiple ATS systems (e.g., after an acquisition), upgrade to Enterprise.
Managing an active connection#
From Settings → Integrations, click an active connection to:
- Re-sync — Force an immediate full sync (useful after making bulk changes in the ATS).
- Reconnect — If the ATS's auth token has expired, you'll be prompted to sign in again. Elly shows a banner in the app when reconnection is needed.
- Disconnect — Revokes Elly's access. Jobs and candidates already imported stay in Elly; future sync stops.
Troubleshooting#
Common issues and first things to check:
- Candidates aren't importing — Confirm the ATS job is in a status that the integration treats as
open. Some integrations only sync open roles. - Stage changes don't propagate — Check that the Elly stage and the ATS stage are mapped. Mapping is set on the integration details page.
- Sync stopped after a while — The auth token may have expired. Reconnect from the Integrations page.
- Duplicate candidates — Can happen if the same candidate is imported manually and via ATS. Use the merge tool on the candidate profile to combine them.
